Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Service Technician Intern in Waco, TX to learn equipment types and their applications while supporting branch operations. You’ll gain hands-on maintenance experience and assist seasoned mechanics, with opportunities to advance to service technician roles after completing your degree or certification.

As an intern, you will develop strong customer service skills and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and pursuing technical degree or certification
• Strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of tools and equipment
• Self-motivated with a strong drive and sense of urgency
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Learn the various types of equipment United Rentals rents and their applications
• Learn both manual and maintenance tasks to support the branch operation
• Provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics
• Explore potential to move into service technician roles after degree/certification
