Premier Industries is Rytecs #1 installer and trusted business partner throughout GA, and now, into TN. We are looking to fill several positions for “Install/Service Technician” to install and service high speed and Commercial docks and doors.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to perform service, repair, and installation of high-speed doors and commercial dock doors. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on commercial doors and dock equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain high-speed doors and commercial dock doors at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with various types of doors and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on doors and dock equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Diagnose issues accurately, order parts as needed, and provide cost-effective solutions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, repairs, and preventive measures.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, parts used, and time spent.
• Provide emergency service and after-hours support as needed (on-call rotation).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and company vehicles.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience (2+ years) as a service technician working with high-speed doors, commercial dock doors, or similar mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in varying weather conditions.
• Availability for emergency calls, after-hours, and weekend work as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, seals, and shelters.
• Certification or training in high-speed door systems or dock equipment repair.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
