Job summary

Daikin Applied in Valley, TX is seeking an HVAC Service Technician III to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial equipment including rooftops, chillers and boilers. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands-on leadership on complex systems.

You will mentor Levels I and II, analyze chiller data, and manage warranties while maintaining high standards and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; HVAC certificate preferred.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification is required or as necessary.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, belts and lubrication.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components or wiring for fans, chillers, water source heat pumps and rooftop units.
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and analyze chiller trend data for optimal performance.
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits; mentor Levels I and II technicians on steps and centrifugal rebuilds.
• Document billing, inventory, timecards and service reports; communicate status to customers.

Direct technician Levels I and II through hands-on demonstration of the necessary steps and introduce centrifugal rebuilds.Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely mannerInteract with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesParticipate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
