Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World seeks a Service Technician 2 to perform specialized trailer repairs and installations, and to proactively sell parts and services to customers. The role requires welding skills (MIG and oxy-acetylene), reading work orders, and maintaining safety and organization in the service area.

Responsibilities include multi-point inspections, quoting service work, and assisting with parts inventory. A valid driver's license is required; overtime may be necessary, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding: MIG and oxy-acetylene experience preferred.
• Two to three years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and installation on trailers, truck beds, tow vehicles, and related equipment.
• Sell parts and services to customers; estimate costs and plan procedures.
• Maintain shop area, parts inventory, and ensure safety and organization.
