Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors across client sites.

The role requires documentation, proper safety practices, and collaboration with site managers and the Parts team. Travel up to 25% may be required; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or tech school required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Planned Maintenance (PM) for Fleet Services Equipment, automated systems, and conveyors and keep PM records up to date.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems and conveyors per site and OEM standards.
• Communicate status and requirements with site managers and operations leaders.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics like service response times and PM completion schedules.
• Manage equipment condition, parts coordination, and repair readiness with accurate records.
• Access OEM software and use manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to diagnose issues and perform adjustments.
