Job summary

Motion is seeking a Service Technician II to repair, service, and build hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems at our Portland, ME facility. You will work under general supervision, with potential guidance for junior technicians, and contribute to project success by delivering quality repairs on time.

The role requires 3–5 years of shop experience, the ability to read hydraulic schematics, strong communication, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of shop experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned customer products in the service shop.
• Disassembles, cleans, and inspects components for repair.
• Diagnoses components and proposes solutions to customers.
• Assembles and tests repaired equipment for performance.
• Assists with quotes and order entry as needed.
