BH Management is seeking a Service Technician II to assist with oversight of physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction. You will diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and other systems, and participate in make-readies and preventive maintenance for the property.
The role requires two years of maintenance/safety experience, intermediate computer skills, and a High School diploma; EPA Section 608 Type I certification is required with your own tools.
The Service Technician II is responsible for assisting with oversight of the physical assets and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, interior and exterior structural work, appliances, and assist with apartment make‑readies. The role also assists with preventive maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for the property, exhibiting a strong commitment to the service needs of internal and external customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
EPA Section 608 Type I – Appliance working knowledge of basic appliance repairs. Required to provide own (industry‑specific) hand tools.
Monday‑Friday (work schedule may vary). Some overtime may be required and the ability to work extended hours, including “on‑call” and/or participate in a rotating “on‑call” schedule as needed to meet business needs.
