Securitas Technology, a global security solutions provider, is seeking a qualified technician to manage post-installation service on client systems across access control, CCTV, intrusion and fire alarm setups.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, preventative maintenance and on-site software upgrades, with strong focus on documentation and customer communication.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary and fire alarm systems.
• ESA/NTS certifications or active license is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure system uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues both individually and in teams.
• Execute preventative maintenance to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Perform configuration changes and document all modifications.
• Test upgrades and perform on-site installations of software changes.

Our service teams are responsible for providing service on Securitas Technology products at client sites. The position provides client contact for all post-installation problems on systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed. This role requires an active EL06 license or must be very close to getting their EL06 License.

Job Duties

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
• Work individually and as a team to diagnose and resolve application issues.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.)
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
• Produce quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Perform pre-deployment end to end testing of all upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms Fire alarm experience:Bosch, Silent Knight highly preferred.Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems is a plus.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician preferred
• NTS Certified Service Technician preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Certifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus
