Job summary

Korum Automotive Group is seeking experienced Hyundai Certified Service Technicians in Tacoma, WA. The role focuses on performing routine maintenance and repairs with a strong emphasis on accurate diagnostics and customer communication.

Qualified candidates will have Hyundai certifications, a high school diploma or equivalent, and solid mechanical troubleshooting skills. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or alternative training.
• Dexterity with a steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• 18 years of age or older, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and to the dealership's standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed if additional service is needed and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Pay: $25.83 to $46.89 Hourly Flat Rate - with Hyundai Certifications Required

Qualifications

• - Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training


• - Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination


• - Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• - Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies


• - Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve


• - Enjoys working in a dynamic environment


• - A teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively


• - Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications


• - At least 18 years of age


• - Must be able to test drive vehicles.
