Stonemark Management in Lithonia, GA is seeking a Service Technician to maintain apartment community facilities and perform repairs. You will assist the Service Supervisor, handle on-site maintenance, and ensure safe, well-kept grounds and units.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• Minimum two years in a service position at an apartment community or related role.
• EPA Certification - Type I and Type II.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, construction and electrical.
• Able to use a range of hand and power tools and freon recovery equipment.
• Flexible to work some weekends and on-call for emergencies.

Ideal candidates must be people oriented with technical aptitude and strong organizational and make-ready skills. Must be capable of working with little or no supervision, and be able to work outside, in all weather conditions and to perform physically difficult work. Position Summary: Assists the Service Supervisor in preserving and maintaining physical facilities and grounds within the community so that they are safe and aesthetically appealing to and prospective by performing the following duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in other types of maintenance as needed.
• Provides service to in a prompt and professional manner.
• Provides repair work on vacant apartments in a timely fashion.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner.
• Completes preventive maintenance checklist.
• Performs on-call duty for emergency or when assigned.
• Assists Service Supervisor in completing projects

Experience/Skills:

• Must have HVAC Certification.
• Minimum two years in a service position at an apartment community or a related position.
• EPA Certification - Type I and Type II .

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, construction and electrical.
• Must be able to use all types of hand and power tools, freon recovery machinery, air conditioning gauges and vacuum pumps.
• Must be able flexible to work some weekends and holidays and available for emergency after hours calls.
