Job summary

Ambient Enterprises, a leading HVAC service provider, seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and startup equipment across Wilmington, Philadelphia, King of Prussia and South NJ. You will troubleshoot complex HVAC and control systems, train customers, and coordinate with project teams on field changes.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC servicing, strong customer service, and the ability to work on-call.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience servicing HVAC systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to participate in On-Call Rotation.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex HVAC and control systems.

You’ll specialize in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. You must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, be dependable and have good customer service skills. This role would service our Wilmington/Philadelphia/King of Prussia/ South NJ areas.Responsibilities :Diagnose and repair complex HVAC and control systems, apply extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems, and ability to test service and maintain these systems.Provide field recommendations for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment. Assists sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.Interfaces with Service manager, project manager or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities.Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings. May assist with job layouts and bid proposals.Perform Startup and trains the customer in HVAC Equipment and control systems operations.
