4Rivers Equipment is seeking a Service Technician / Heavy Construction Mechanic in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves operating a mobile service vehicle, traveling to customer locations, and performing in-field diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment.

Ideal candidates will perform engine work, hydraulic and transmission repairs, and document all activities. Safety and professionalism are priority, with opportunities for training and advancement within a John Deere oriented team.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocation or technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit are essential.
• CDL not required but preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy equipment in-field.
• Engine rebuilds, axle work, hydraulic valves, pumps, and transmissions.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, and reassemble components.
• Keep meticulous records of hours, serial numbers, issues and fixes.
• Mentor and guide other technicians and apprentices.
• Attend company training to level up skills and knowledge.
• Maintain service trucks and company assets in top condition.
• Prioritize safety in all tool handling and operations.
• Represent 4Rivers Equipment professionally at customer sites.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field, machinery diagnostics and repairs as required, representing the dealership with efficiency and professionalism by providing service solutions and enhanced customer service second to none.

Your Epic Duties:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.
• Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump wizardry, and transmission repairs are all in a day’s work!
• Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
• Keep meticulous records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
• Be a mentor and guide for other technicians and apprentice technicians.
• Attend company sponsored training to level up your skills, knowledge, and expertise.
• Keep our service trucks and all company assets in top-notch shape.
• Always put safety first by adhering to all established safety protocols – whether you’re operating power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.
