Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance on forklifts and related equipment at the Mt Vernon, Washington site. The role involves safety inspections, keeping maintenance records, and working shifts with occasional overtime during peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines.
• Recent mechanic or service experience is preferred.
• All applicants must be at least age 18.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform preventative and routine maintenance on both gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other various equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and accurately maintain maintenance records.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• There is occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments.
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
