Job summary

A&H Equipment Co. in Ohio is seeking a Service Technician to repair customers' equipment, leveraging strong mechanical knowledge and safe work practices. The role reports to the Service Manager and will require professional interaction with customers and the A&H team.

The standard shift is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime opportunities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of obtaining forklift certification; Class B CDL is preferred if held.

• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication
• Willingness to complete training and certifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot standard mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Install parts and add-on equipment per install specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functionality and operations of equipment.
• Perform safety inspections on equipment.
• Operate a forklift with necessary certification.
• Weld and fabricate as needed to support service operations.
• Assist department with customer-related issues including calls, quotes, and updates.
• Maintain excellent customer service levels.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Complete paperwork for contracts and SOPs.
• CBT training certification willingness.
