Rusnak Auto Group's Westlake Audi dealership in Westlake Village, CA is seeking an Entry Level Service Technician to develop skills in vehicle diagnosis, repair, and maintenance using company tools in a safe, efficient manner. You will strive to meet proficiency and franchise goals while upholding integrity and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Trade school or 2-year automotive degree or 1 year related experience preferred.
• Current California Driver License with satisfactory DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Consistently ensures client satisfaction and safety by effectively, efficiently, and safely repairing vehicles right the first time.
• Utilizes manufacturer recommended diagnosis and repair processes.
• Seeks clarification when needed and communicates actions taken to resolve concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of company, manufacturer, and regulatory policies and documents procedures accordingly.
• Reads and interprets complex technical documents to perform work accurately.

Responsibilities

Consistently Ensures Client Satisfaction and Safety by Effectively, Efficiently, and Safely Repairing Vehicles Right the First Time, Every Time

• Effectively utilizes manufacturer recommended diagnosis and repair processes.
• Promptly seeks clarification and/or management input, if Client concern, objective, or correct course of action is unclear.
• Upon completion of repair, verifies that the concern has been resolved; communicates clearly the cause and all steps taken to correct the concern.
• Consistently and actively maintains solid working knowledge of, and ensures documentation and procedures comply with, Company, Manufacturer, local, state, and federal policies, procedures and regulations, which pertain to the sale and service of new and pre-owned vehicles; consistently demonstrates passion for continued learning regarding brand-specific knowledge.
• Consistently, effectively, and efficiently locates, reads, analyzes, interprets, understands, and successfully performs work based upon complex technical documents.

Effectively and Efficiently Achieves Proficiency Rate

• Consistently participates in determination of personal performance targets; sets challenging goals.
• Organizes work and work tools to minimize damage and/or loss.
• Required to successfully pass and remain current on all certification testing

Qualifications

• Required: H.S. Diploma/GED/ or Equivalent
• Desired: Trade school or 2 year Degree in automotive or related field, or equivalent of 1 years’ experience in same/similar position.
• Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
