Rusnak Auto Group's BMW dealership in Westlake Village is seeking an Entry Level Service Technician. You will learn to repair vehicles using company tools in a safe, timely manner while upholding our integrity and quality standards.

This role offers professional development, competitive pay ($16.90–$35.00/hr plus flag rate), and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Trade school or 2-year automotive degree is preferred or equivalent of 1 year of related experience.
• Current California Driver License with satisfactory DMV record is required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively, safely repair vehicles using manufacturer-recommended processes.
• Seek clarification from management when a repair path is unclear.
• Verify after repair that the concern is resolved and clearly communicate actions taken.
• Maintain compliance with company, manufacturer, and legal policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret complex technical documents to perform work accurately.

Our BMW dealership in Westlake is seeking Service Technician - Entry Level. This is a great opportunity to take your automotive career to the next level. Compensation: $16.90/hr - $35.00/hr + Flag Rate

Responsibilities

Consistently Ensures Client Satisfaction and Safety by Effectively, Efficiently, and Safely Repairing Vehicles Right the First Time, Every Time

• Effectively utilizes manufacturer recommended diagnosis and repair processes.
• Promptly seeks clarification and/or management input, if Client concern, objective, or correct course of action is unclear.
• Upon completion of repair, verifies that the concern has been resolved; communicates clearly the cause and all steps taken to correct the concern.
• Consistently and actively maintains solid working knowledge of, and ensures documentation and procedures comply with, Company, Manufacturer, local, state, and federal policies, procedures and regulations, which pertain to the sale and service of new and pre-owned vehicles; consistently demonstrates passion for continued learning regarding brand-specific knowledge.
• Consistently, effectively, and efficiently locates, reads, analyzes, interprets, understands, and successfully performs work based upon complex technical documents.

Effectively and Efficiently Achieves Proficiency Rate

• Consistently participates in determination of personal performance targets; sets challenging goals.
• Organizes work and work tools to minimize damage and/or loss.
• Required to successfully pass and remain current on all certification testing

Qualifications

• Required: H.S. Diploma/GED/ or Equivalent
• Desired: Trade school or 2 year Degree in automotive or related field, or equivalent of 1 years’ experience in same/similar position.
• Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
