Job summary

Rusnak Auto Group in Ontario, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Service Technician to develop automotive repair skills using company tools and manufacturer guidance. You will repair vehicles safely and efficiently while upholding high standards and working toward individual proficiency and franchise goals.

Qualifications

• Required: H.S. Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory DMV driving record.
• Desired: Trade school or 2 year Degree in automotive or related field, or equivalent of 1 years’ experience in same/similar position.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles correctly using manufacturer guidelines and company tools.
• Communicate repair findings and actions to management and customers as needed.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements relevant to vehicle service.
• Maintain accurate documentation and stay current with certification testing and brand knowledge.
• Aim for first-time, correct repairs and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Consistently Ensures Client Satisfaction and Safety by Effectively, Efficiently, and Safely Repairing Vehicles Right the First Time, Every Time

• Effectively utilizes manufacturer recommended diagnosis and repair processes.
• Promptly seeks clarification and/or management input, if Client concern, objective, or correct course of action is unclear.
• Upon completion of repair, verifies that the concern has been resolved; communicates clearly the cause and all steps taken to correct the concern.
• Consistently and actively maintains solid working knowledge of, and ensures documentation and procedures comply with, Company, Manufacturer, local, state, and federal policies, procedures and regulations, which pertain to the sale and service of new and pre-owned vehicles; consistently demonstrates passion for continued learning regarding brand-specific knowledge.
• Consistently, effectively, and efficiently locates, reads, analyzes, interprets, understands, and successfully performs work based upon complex technical documents.

Effectively and Efficiently Achieves Proficiency Rate

• Consistently participates in determination of personal performance targets; sets challenging goals.
• Organizes work and work tools to minimize damage and/or loss.
• Required to successfully pass and remain current on all certification testing
