Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group, a leading Peterbilt dealership, is hiring skilled Service Technicians in Wisconsin. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, driveline and chassis components using state-of-the-art equipment, with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic equipment to identify root causes of failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on diesel engines.
• Repair driveline and chassis components including clutches, hubs, differentials, brakes and transmissions.
• Apply OEM procedures to complex repairs and parts identification.
• Demonstrate readiness to learn and grow within the organization.

Service Technician Essential & Primary Job Duties:

• Work with state-of-the-art, industry leading diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying required parts and tools.

Service Technician Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable and reliable attendance required
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
