Allstate Peterbilt Group in Minnesota is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair diesel engines and driveline components using advanced diagnostic equipment. You will perform repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls across a range of systems, following OEM procedures and using the right parts and tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Work with diagnostic equipment to determine root cause of failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension, brakes, transmissions.
• Apply OEM procedures to complete complex repairs and identify required parts and tools.

Service Technician Essential & Primary Job Duties:

• Work with state-of-the-art, industry leading diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying required parts and tools.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
