Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic for 2nd shift at our Wisconsin location. You will diagnose, service, repair, and overhaul diesel engines and related driveline components using advanced diagnostic tools. A valid driver’s license, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines using OEM procedures.
• Perform repairs on driveline and chassis components.
• Operate state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to determine root causes.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Service Technician Essential & Primary Job Duties:

• Work with state-of-the-art, industry leading diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying required parts and tools.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable and reliable attendance required
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
