Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group in Fargo, ND is hiring a Service Technician to diagnose and repair diesel engines and driveline systems. You will work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and follow OEM procedures to identify root causes and perform repairs.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. We value dependable attendance and professional communication.

Service Technician Essential & Primary Job Duties

• Work with state-of-the-art, industry leading diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying required parts and tools.

Service Technician Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver\'s license
• Dependable and reliable attendance required
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
