Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $50.00/hr

We are seeking a Diesel Service Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service and Ford certification is preferred. Responsibilities include performing repairs on specific orders and diagnosing vehicle issues.

Our busy shop is looking for a skilled Diesel technician familiar with Ford Diesel Engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform work efficiently as specified on repair orders, following dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and estimates
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dealership service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ford Certification preferred
• Experience with diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair at a dealership level
• Steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
• Customer service skills and basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to new technology
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
