Job summary

Elevated Industrial Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and service on industrial compressed air systems in Colorado. The role includes after-hours work, emergencies, and potential sales activities for new service business and parts.

You will prepare service orders, assist with warranties, and maintain tools while collaborating with the Technical Department to resolve issues on compressors, blowers, air dryers, and vacuum units.

Qualifications

• One year of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment (compressors/HVAC).
• Strong electrical/plumbing/mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with little supervision.
• Owning hand tools is required.
• Ability to listen, gain trust, and close sales with customers.
• Able to use sales processes to address objections.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service on industrial compressed air systems for customers in a designated territory, including after-hours as needed.
• Prepare service orders, timesheets, and expense reports accurately and timely.
• Assist with warranty evaluation, rebuilding, and maintenance of products.
• Seek to acquire new service business, maintenance contracts, and parts/accessory sales.
• Be responsible for upkeep of all company-issued tools used for servicing equipment.
• Communicate with Technical Department to resolve repair/installation issues on compressors and related equipment.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as required.

Role Description

The Service Technician will work within Colorado.This position will perform all maintenance and service on industrial compressed air systems for customers, as well as sell compressed air systems. This may include after-hour emergencies, weekend and holidays, and on-call rotations.

• Prepare all service orders, timesheets, and expense reports accurately, neatly, and timely.
• Assist with the evaluation of products for warranty, rebuilding, and maintenance purposes.
• Seek to acquire new service business, maintenance contracts, and parts/accessory sales.
• Be responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools used for servicing compressors and related equipment.
• Communicate with the Technical Department to find solutions for repair, installation, or service issues on compressors, blowers, air dryers, and/or vacuum units.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) years field service experience performing installations, preventative maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment, preferably compressors and/or HVAC equipment.
• A strong electrical/plumbing/mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be self-directed to perform with little supervision.
• Owning hand tools
• Ability to listen, gain trust, and bring to closure an action, project resolution, or sales with customers.
• Ability to utilize sales processes to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions.
