The Automotive Service Technician at Global Imports BMW, part of Sonic Automotive, performs repairs and routine maintenance to dealer and factory standards. The role includes supervising apprentices and ensuring quality work in a busy Atlanta shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE or manufacturing training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Authorization to work in the USA and ability to pass pre-employment checks including background, MVR, and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and prepare vehicles for service.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components.
• Supervise apprentices as assigned and participate in factory training.
