Veregy is seeking a Service Technician - Chiller - HVAC in Dallas, TX to operate, maintain, and repair chiller systems for commercial and industrial sites. The role spans diagnosing electrical and control components, hydronic pumps, EMCS, and building automation while maintaining safety and accurate paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of chiller/HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and possibly a NATE certification.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience operating, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial chiller systems and HVAC equipment.
• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs all types of chiller systems for commercial and industrial sites.
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical, mechanical, and electronic components in chiller systems.

• Repairs, troubleshoots and maintains packaged and split systems.

Summary of Position Functions

The Service Technician - Chiller - HVAC performs skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of chiller systems of all types. The primary responsibility will be chiller systems but also working on other HVAC systems may be required from time to time.

Essential Position Functions

• Maintains and repairs all types of chiller systems including air and water cooled for both commercial and industrial.
• Diagnoses and repairs electronic, mechanical, and electrical components in all types of chiller systems including HVAC heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilating systems in commercial and industrial sites.
• Diagnoses, services, and repairs hydronic pumps.
• Repairs EMCS and building control systems.
• Repairs, troubleshoots and maintains packaged and split systems.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs various makes and models of equipment.
• Possesses a strong understanding of central plants and hydronic systems operation.
• Maintains accurate and complete invoices, paperwork and other procedures to company standards.
• Maintains the highest safety standards while working on the job.
• Performs daily work duties associated with the trade with little to no supervision in the field.

• Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in the repair of air and water cooled, heating and air condition equipment in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Knowledge of electrical and control systems.
• Knowledge of Veregy’s services and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions.
