Job summary

Central Plains Equipment in Burlington, CO, is seeking a Service Diesel Technician/CDL Truck Driver to join full-time. You will perform maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment, transport gear to customer sites, and ensure safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning on a variety of farm equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and complete mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system repairs.
  • Follow service schedules and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Document work performed in reports and work orders with attention to detail.
  • Use diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, and technical resources to support repairs.
  • Safely transport farm equipment and related materials to customer locations assigned.
  • Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company policies, keeping all required certifications and documentation up to date.
  • Assist with loading/unloading equipment, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Manage work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to equipment-related odors.
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members to provide seamless customer experience.
