Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a propane service technician to safely operate our service vehicle, repair/install tanks for commercial and residential customers, and perform occasional deliveries based on route needs.

You will work in varied weather, follow safety policies, and use PPE daily while meeting DOT requirements and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.

• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane.
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts.

Pay for this position ranges from $27.50 to $28.50 per hour, with potential for performance-based bonuses or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
