Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently, following dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services needed and provide repair estimates
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willingness to submit to drug screening and background checks
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, ensuring safety and quality
- Inspect parts and explain technical issues to customers and staff
- Adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies
- Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training
- Inspect and oversee repairs done by other technicians
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to team members
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards
