Job summary

BRAM Auto Group operates Lexus and Toyota of Manhattan in New York, NY, and is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician (A/B) to diagnose and repair vehicles with precision.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of technician experience, dealership preferred
• Engine repair, transmission, suspension and diagnostics experience
• Lexus/Toyota technician experience preferred
• New York State inspection license is mandatory

• CDK & Dealer Daily experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs per the repair order
• Inspect vehicles and advise if additional work is required
• Maintain and lubricate vehicle suspension systems and moving parts
• Document all work performed
• Road-test vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools
• Ensure cleanliness of customer vehicles and shop area
• Follow hazardous waste disposal regulations and factory/state requirements
• Attend factory-sponsored training as required

We are looking for an experienced (A/B), Automotive Service Technician for our Lexus & Toyota of Manhattan Dealerships!

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required and then notifies service advisor
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and proper lubrication of a car’s suspension system and other moving parts.
• Responsible for documenting all work performed
• Road-tests vehicles when required Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Ensures cleanliness of all customers vehicles
• Keeps shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools
• Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Complies with factory and state requirements for technical certifications
• Attends factory-sponsored training classes as required

What We Are Looking For:

• 3-5+ previous Technician experience (dealership preferred)
• Engine (Repair, Swap, Build), Transmission, Suspension, Diagnostics experience
• Toyota/Lexus Technician experience preferred
• MUST HAVE NEW YORK STATE INSPECTON LICENSE
• ASE CERTIFIED PREFERRED
• CDK & Dealer Daily experience a plus
