Avenica is a Talent Partner of Walser Automotive Group, helping to launch Automotive Technician careers at Walser's Wichita campus for candidates at all experience levels.

This is an application for ongoing consideration for entry-levelAutomotive Techniciansat Walser Automotive Group hiring immediately. These Technician roles are full-time, direct hire opportunities with great benefits.

• Location: Wichita, KS
• Compensation: Starts at $18/hr guaranteed rate, increased based on production up to $25/hr.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical resources.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols while delivering high-quality, efficient service.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors or team leads.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a technician or maintenance role preferred (automotive dealership experience a plus), and/or passionate about cars
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable learning and using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop technology
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality work
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment
• Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
