GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Technician role is a vital part of our operations, serving as both the face of our company and responsible for delivering the world-class service our customers expect. Service Technicians handle service calls and troubleshooting for equipment such as ATMs, ITMs, Cash Recyclers, Cash Counters, Security Systems, Video Surveillance, and other banking-related equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.)

  • Respond promptly to dispatched service calls, providing remote and onsite support
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs efficiently
  • Maintain and install security systems
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Maintain a professional image through excellent customer relationship skills
  • Manage parts inventory and company assets responsibly
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & TRAINING
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of related experience
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in a customer-facing Field Service Technician role
  • At least one year of experience servicing electromechanical equipment (ATM or banking equipment preferred)
  • At least one year of experience with security system maintenance and installation (physical, alarms, video, infrastructure)
  • Strong knowledge of basic electronics
  • Technical proficiency and mechanical aptitude
  • Clean driving record

  • Excellent troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Independent research and management of assignments
