Job summary

Tracy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our service team in Tracy, CA. The role involves performing repairs per repair orders, testing components with diagnostic tools, and diagnosing vehicle systems.

You will communicate with the Service Advisor on additional services and complete online inspection reports. We offer top pay for experienced technicians, paid training, and a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team player capable of working with others.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as specified on repair orders in line with dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment; perform test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed services and complete online inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies


• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report


• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least2 years of experience as an auto technician


• Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance


• Have excellent customer service skills


• Are a team player


• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• Have a valid driver\'s license


• Have a High School Diploma
