Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
• Communicate additional service requests
• Plan work with shop foreman
• Provide labor estimates
• Monitor repair times and update service advisors
• Adhere to dealership policies on vehicle care
• Complete repair documentation
• Mentor technician trainees
• Attend training sessions and stay current with factory bulletins
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, dealership experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

• ASE Certification (not Ford specific)
• Operator Driver License
• State Inspection License
