Job summary

Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. is seeking a Tier 2 technician to advance from Tier 3 foundations. You will complete online Mack and Volvo trainings, pursue off-site certifications, and work toward established path certifications to maintain high repair quality.

Expect hands-on diagnostics across air, fuel, and aftertreatment systems, with a focus on efficient repairs and professional conduct. A strong training mindset and CDL may be required.

Qualifications

• Tier 2 technicians must have a minimum of two years on-the-job training.
• Completed online portion training in Mack & Volvo in our Dual branded locations and single brand in those single branded locations.
• Active participation in approved off-site training prerequisites or attendance toward certification in the agreed path.
• Knowledge of Air System, Fuel Systems, Aftertreatment systems, etc.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely repairs at minimum 85% efficiency and 80% proficiency.
• Performs quality repairs with minimal rework based on value and frequency.
• Diagnose and repair basic electronic, lighting, and electrical systems.
• Work with minimal supervision and maintain a professional image.
• Progression requires completing Tier 3 requirements and achieving multiple certifications.

In addition, a Tier 2 technician will have achieved various levels of on-line training and approved off site training and specified below. A technician will not be considered for Tier 2 advancement until they have a minimal of two years on the job training.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES REQUIRED IN ADDITION TO THOSE STATED IN THE TIER 3 DESCRIPTIONCompleted online portion training in Mack & Volvo in our Dual branded locations and single brand in those single branded locations.
