Job summary

Lithia Hyundai of Reno is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensure quality through road tests, and document procedures accurately.

The role emphasizes efficiency, safety, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dealership automotive technician experience required.
• Hyundai experience preferred.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in routine maintenance, drivability, electrical and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Document work and test procedures/results on repair orders.
• Maintain an organized workspace and inventory of essential tools.
• Complete required training and pursue manufacturer certifications.
• Provide and maintain necessary tools to perform the job.
