RR Living's Trails at Hunter Pointe in Gallatin, TN is seeking a seasoned Service Technician to perform make-readies, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance for residents. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform safety checks, and help ensure a clean, comfortable living environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, EPA certification, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• EPA certification is required; CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.
• High School diploma or equivalent; ability to read instructions.
• On-call responsibilities and flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Expediting make-ready maintenance: check appliance operations, lighting, minor electrical/plumbing repairs.
• Plumbing: repair dripping faucets, clean stopped sinks/toilets, basic repairs.
• Pool maintenance and grounds upkeep: maintain chemical levels, clean and snow/ice removal.
• Carpentry and painting: repair balconies/doors, drywall, texture ceilings, paint surfaces.
• Repair appliances, re-key locks, light electrical tasks, and maintain supplies inventory.

The Service Technician is responsible for creating and maintaining excellent public relations for the corporation and for the community.**Responsibilities:*** Expediting make-ready maintenance: Check appliance operations. Change light bulbs. Repair minor electrical problems. Change a/c filters. Change locks. Repair window locks. Make minor plumbing repairs. Perform other maintenance tasks as required by the condition of the unit. Carpet repair.* Plumbing: Repair dripping faucets. Clean stopped sinks, tubs, toilets, sewer lines. Maintain a/c, boilers, heating units.* Pool Maintenance: Backwash filters. Vacuum pool. Skim pool. Maintain required chemical levels.* Carpentry: Repair Balconies, Doors, frames, flooring. Repair fences. Repair dumpster bins, public service bins. Repair tile. Replace broken glass.* Painting: Replace damaged drywall, tape and mud. Texture walls, ceilings. Paint.* Grounds maintenance: Collect litter from grounds on an ongoing basis. Assist groundskeeper as required. Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids Used: Power saws, hand saws, power drills, hand drills, drywall taking, knives, paint rollers, pads, brushes, key-making machines, voltage meter, and wrenches.## Qualifications**Requirements:*** This position requires some \"on call\" responsibilities as reasonably necessary to lease and deal with maintenance emergencies.* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.* Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.* Must possess cell phone* General education: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.* Specialized Education/Training/Experience, Preferred: Prefer minimum two years’ experience in general apartment maintenance.
