Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose and repair ground support equipment for aircraft. The successful candidate will have expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, along with strong troubleshooting skills. This role requires a valid driver's license and two years of relevant experience, and technical certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of related experience required.
  • Ability to comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies.
  • Capable of obtaining an airport issued ID badge.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment.
  • Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work.
  • Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.

Job description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment,and ground support equipment. TextronSpecialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golfcourses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.


Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment.
• Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company owned
equipment.
• Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (Diesel, Gas and LP).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.
• Complete vehicle repair order and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, technical certification/diploma preferred
• Years of Experience: 2 or more years of related experience required
• Must possess a valid drives license and must comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport issued ID badge per the airport contract
