Job Overview:
Ingersoll Rand has an exciting opportunity to support the Dosatron team as a Service Technician/Warehouse Support. This position was created to satisfy our customers’ needs for Dosatron pumps and equipment repairs in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:
• To assist customers on the phone troubleshooting issues. To assist with BOMs (bill of material) assembly for custom equipment.
• Assist with shipping/receiving in an organized and accurate manner. Assist with the inventory of systems parts and make sure adequate levels are in stock.
• Inspect the unit in the test area and determine the site of failure. Physically disassemble the unit to determine broken or missing parts. Diagnose the cause of failure and prepare an estimate.
• Complete pick ticket by determining parts and labor required, as well as condition and cause. Repair unit and test unit on in-house test bench for proper function.
• To assist in the design of turn key systems for customers according to their specifications- work closely with sales reps to ensure clients' requirements are met.
• Assemble, test, package, and ship systems. Process systems orders through the computer.
• Data entry into customer's files documenting all transactions; including customer complaints, RA #'s, and all notes about repaired units.
• Assist the shipping coordinator with shipping quotes and pick-up organization. Track shipments as needed. Assist with the ordering/receiving of goods.

Requirements:
• At least 2+ (or more years) of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• At least 1+ (or more years) of experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools to build shipping crates.

Core Competencies:
• Must be able to communicate with customers on several levels; 1) Explain to the customer the results of the diagnosis of repair; give estimate and review installation. 2) Be able to give technical assistance which includes troubleshooting units and installations, technical specifications on units and injection rates, and chemical compatibility. 3) Issue RA numbers and take parts orders. 4) Complete follow-up calls to ensure the satisfaction of the client.
• Proficient with the shipping system: pulling orders, packaging, shipping as small parcels or via truck line.
• Proficient in building and testing of demonstration units for the sales team, breaking down and rebuilding existing units to meet individual customers' needs, to counting, bagging, labeling, and putting spare parts away. Keep the service manager informed of problems with product defects, individual customers with units or installations, low quantities of spare parts or units, and ordering of equipment or supplies.
• Maintain and improve safety procedures, policies, supplies, and equipment.
• Proficiency at correctly completing RA forms, and order-taking for parts, as well as basic letters to accompany faxes.

Preferences:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
• This position will be based 100% onsite at our Clearwater, Florida facility
