Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is seeking a Service Technician to help keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. We provide training and support to help you build your career in a stable, hands-on role.

You’ll join a fast-paced, team-oriented shop with competitive pay, full-time hours, and opportunities for growth as you develop automotive skills and customer service expertise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willing to be trained in automotive tire services.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop.
• Team player with good communication and a positive attitude.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment.
