Job summary

Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of Wood River in Wood River, IL has an immediate opening for an automotive journeyman technician capable of LOF, brake work, tires, suspension, electrical and diagnostics. Prior GM dealership or equivalent repair facility experience preferred.

This is a union shop with pay and benefits. Candidates should have schooling in automotive technology and be able to perform vehicle inspections and service tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair including LOF, brakes, tires, suspension and electrical systems.
• GM dealership or equivalent repair facility experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform LOF, brakes, tires, suspension, electrical and diagnostic work.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $90,000.00 Hourly

Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of Wood River has an immediate opening for a automotive journeyman technician. An automotive journeyman service technician should be familiar and capable of doing all aspects of automotive work, LOF, vehicle inspections, brakes, tires, suspension, flushes, electrical and diagnostic work etc. Previous schooling, GM automotive dealership or other repair facility technician experience would be required to be a candidate for this position. This is a union shop with the pay and benefits that come with it.
