Job summary

Lehman Daman Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform facility maintenance, repair requests, and on-site supervision across Central Ohio properties.

The role emphasizes safety, multi-trade repair skills, and proactive problem solving. Candidates should have at least three years of general service maintenance experience, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of general service maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple properties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities including bending, standing, and kneeling.
• Strong knowledge of safety best practices and procedures.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Proficient with basic technology including email and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to Lehman Daman’s culture and maintain a collaborative, team-focused approach.
• Follow all safety practices and comply fully with Lehman Daman’s safety program, including the use of required safety equipment at all times.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair work across a variety of building systems and components.
• Assemble, procure, install, and repair materials and finishes, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall and finishing, FRP, acoustic ceilings, and painting.
• Maintain a working understanding of structural, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, and electrical systems.
• Support project execution by helping manage schedule, cost, and quality standards.
• Communicate directly and effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
• Read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to complete assigned work accurately.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work meets applicable quality standards, laws, and regulations.
• Safely operate trade tools and maintain accurate inventory of tools and materials.
• Maintain required project documentation, including daily reports, mileage, expense records, and timesheets.

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to diagnose and complete minor repairs and troubleshoot onsite issues.
• Skilled in identifying additional maintenance needs while completing assigned service requests.
• Experience using hand and power tools, with working knowledge of drywall repair and general home maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities including bending, standing, and kneeling.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and work at heights.
• Proficient with basic technology, including email, mobile devices, and digital photography.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between multiple properties as required.
• Team-oriented professional with a positive, proactive attitude and a strong track record of success.
• Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general service maintenance.
