Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Warsaw, VA customer service center. You will perform propane service, tank installation, and inspections while ensuring safety and adherence to the company’s standards.

You will respond to emergencies, rotate on-call duties, and coordinate with managers, dispatchers, and drivers. A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker is preferred, with 2–3 years of experience in propane/oil service. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

• 2–3 years propane/oil service experience preferred.
• HVAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Identify and correct leaks from tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Perform tank maintenance and prep spare tanks for service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross-train to assist with bobtail propane deliveries.
• Communicate proactively with Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers.

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Warsaw, VA customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. What you’ll do:

• Propane service and tank installation.


• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.


• Respond to customer emergencies as needed


• Rotate \"on call\" status during evenings and weekends as needed


• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.


• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.


• Will be cross trained to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed


• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• 2-3 years propane/oil service preferred; HVAC


• High School Diploma or General Education Degree


• CDL with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $29.00 per hour.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.

This position is also eligible for a quarterly/annual incentive program.
