Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. Earn an hourly wage and enjoy bonuses, with a focus on fast-paced service and reliable deliveries to customer sites across the nation.

You will perform maintenance, installations, and repairs on coffee equipment, educate customers on proper usage, and handle paperwork and inventory with diligence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Past experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on proper use of coffee equipment and respond to inquiries, communicating customer questions to the appropriate staff.
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for the service vehicle and monthly inventory checks.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, disbursement sheets, and inventory in accordance with policies.

What you'll be doing – The Role:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
