NTC Services AS is seeking a Site Manager to oversee data center projects. This role involves managing construction and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Candidates must have a higher education in engineering, project management experience, and fluency in English.
As a site manager, you will coordinate with subcontractors and ensure that all installations meet quality standards. A driver’s license and security clearance from the armed forces or police are prerequisites for permanent employment.
NTC is growing rapidly. We operate our own colocation center at our office address Billingstadsletta 17 in Asker. We design, deliver, install, operate and service customers' data centres around Norway. In this context, there are countless tasks that we need assistance with in our daily work. It can be the construction of rack cubes for customers' computer equipment with the insertion of power rails/PDUs for power to the equipment, patching of fibre, installation of busbar power rails under the computer floor or above the racks, assistance with the installation of UPSs with battery systems that can be VRLA or Lithium based, installation of sensors for monitoring systems, for assistance with the delivery and start‑up of backup power systems that ensure a 24/7 power supply. Current candidates must have a driver's licence and must have been through a security clearance by the armed forces or the police before permanent employment. We need a site manager in connection with the data centre projects where we build ourselves, or are a subcontractor. The position requires a higher education, preferably an engineer, with project experience from similar installations. The candidate must be fluent in English orally and in writing. A prerequisite for permanent employment is approval of a security clearance from the armed forces and/or the police, as well as having a driving licence. The candidate should have good competence in IT in general, specialist competence preferably in electrical and/or cooling.
