Job summary

DeLandChrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in New York is hiring skilled automotive technicians. You will perform repairs, diagnose complex vehicle systems and work closely with service advisors to keep customers informed.

The role emphasizes efficiency, safety and warranty-compliant service, with ongoing training and high-quality parts use. Candidates should have ASE certifications or strong automotive background, team-oriented mindset, and a valid driver’s license.

• Must submit to a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work specified on the order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership expectations.
• Test-drive vehicles, diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension and climate control.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding estimated times and needed additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
