Job description

Our client has nine (9) world-class facilities that routinely deliver service excellence and feature the latest diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art fabrication systems designed to cover a comprehensive range of transit bus, motorcoach and RV service and repair. In addition to a full line of diesel and gas commercial vehicle products ranging from vans to luxury buses, they are also a leader in fully electric commercial vehicles.

Scope:

This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motor coaches and other commercial vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motor coaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles and other vehicles.
  2. Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.
  3. Compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT.
  4. Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by Individual Service Technician training, certification, knowledge, skill, and experience.
  5. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames.
  2. Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities.
  3. Previous experience with Body and Frame Repairs.
  4. Experience with Interior Component repair/replacement.
  5. Audio/Video knowledge recommended but not required.
Skills:
  1. Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude.
  2. Must have a good attendance record.
  3. Must be willing to travel, with possible work on the weekends/overtime.
Physical Demands:
  1. Ability to move items weighing at least 100 pounds.
  2. The person in this position needs to move constantly for extended periods of time (80-100% of shift).
  3. Ability to work in and outdoors for extended periods of time.
