Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Accurately diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability concerns.
• Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic equipment to identify concerns and verify repairs.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs, additional work needed, and estimated completion times.
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing training and manufacturer programs.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Deliver repairs correctly and on time to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Ford, or other Domestic OEM certifications preferred.
• Ase certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Technical or trade school education preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and technical information.
