Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking a skilled field HVAC commercial technician to service a 100 mile radius with emphasis on large-chiller systems. You will maintain and repair central plant equipment, perform start-ups, commissioning, and on-call emergency service, ensuring safety and quality across projects in California.

Requires 5 years journeyman-level experience, technical schooling, CA license, and EPA Universal Technician Certification.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level HVAC technician with 5 years' experience and technical schooling.
• Commercial/industrial air conditioning experience required.
• Knowledge of chillers, HVAC, and central plants.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification (CA).
• Available for emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair central plant equipment including 100 ton+ chillers.
• Overhaul centrifugal chillers (plus).
• Site-wide preventive maintenance for chillers, cooling towers, central plant equipment.
• Test, program, start-up, and commissioning end-to-end.
• Provide on-call emergency service and coordinate with customers.
