Are you a highly motivated and independent individual with a passion for security and problem-solving? We're looking for a dedicated Mobile Locksmith & Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll be on the front lines, providing essential on-site security services to our community, enjoying the freedom and flexibility of working independently while building strong customer relationships. Based in San Jose, this position involves daily travel throughout the Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial locks, security systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
• Perform diverse locksmith services, including lockouts, lock repairs, and emergency services.
• Cut and duplicate keys.
• Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (e.g., Cat5e/6, coaxial).
• Configure security and access control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage system malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on comprehensive security solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Offer technical support and training to customers.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized mobile workshop.
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow. While experience is a plus, comprehensive paid training is provided for the right candidate.
• A background or interest in locksmithing, electrical work, or mechanical systems is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of lock mechanisms and security systems is beneficial.
• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and manage your time effectively.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
