Job summary

Verto People Ltd. is seeking a Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician to join an established industrial engineering team in Salt Lake City and the wider Wasatch Front.

Job description

Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician required to join an established industrial engineering business.

The Successful Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician will be field-based supporting industrial customers across Salt Lake City and the wider Wasatch Front, providing installation, maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of compressed-air, rotating and electromechanical equipment. Full product training provided.

The Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician will ideally have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with hands-on experience servicing compressors, pumps, vacuum equipment, motors, controls or related industrial machinery, who can work independently in a customer-facing field role.

• $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience

• Support industrial customers across Salt Lake City and the wider Wasatch Front.
• Field-based covering Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Sandy, Draper, Murray, South Jordan, West Jordan, Layton, Ogden and surrounding industrial markets.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Hands-on experience with compressors, pumps, motors or industrial equipment.
• Experience as a Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Technician / Mechanical Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical and three-phase electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with compressors, dryers, filtration, vacuum pumps, motors, controls or rotating equipment is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license with strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to work field-based across Salt Lake City and the wider Wasatch Front.
